The SPX rotor design provides a more aggressive turbulence, which is necessary for applications following higher consistency washers or with a highly contaminated recycled fiber furnish. The high level of turbulence helps to separate unwanted particles from good fiber. The elements on this rotor model are also replaceable as these applications tend to cause a faster wear rate.
